Uptown Sparkles 2024 - celebrating 15 years!

‘Tis the Season to Sparkle! Celebrate 15 years of holiday magic in Uptown Saint John. With dazzling lights, live performances, festive fun, and cozy firepits, there’s something for everyone.

We'll be in front of the station at 58 King Street, giving you a chance to win:

Uptown Sparkle festivities begin at 5 p.m. and range from live music and firepits to marshmallow roasting in King’s Square.

At 6 p.m., the Mayor’s Tree Lighting at City Hall will officially kick off the night.

Plan to shop local and enjoy special activities at our wonderful Uptown businesses, many open late to welcome you with seasonal treats and unique holiday finds - the gates to the Waterfront Container Village will open too for shopping with selected vendors, photo ops and tonnes of holiday cheer.

You can add to the glow by wearing your own lights and festive outfits.
