Over 200 volunteers have strapped on their rubber boots and gloves for this years spring clean-up of Marsh Creek. This is the 12th year for the project hosted by the Atlantic Coastal Action Program. Executive Director Tim Vickers tells CHSJ News, with all of the awareness today about illegal dumping, it’s hard to believe the amount of trash they continue to find in this waterway.
Vickers says most people know Marsh Creek for the nasty look and smell over the last two kilometers but in the area near Majors Brook, there is clean water and fish living in it.
