She says the decision to establish the Atlantic Cruise Association about twenty years ago was a great idea.
The association includes several Atlantic ports of call.
“Saint John, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown and Cornerbrook. More recently we partnered with the St. Lawrence Cruise Association, Cruise Maine, Boston and New York. We formed the Cruise Canada New England Alliance.” MacMillan says.
MacMillan says Cruise Industry News reports that in 2017, the Canada/New England region welcomed a little less than 300,000 passengers.
