The School Nutritional Advisory Committee at Seaside Park Elementary feels it was ignored when it comes to the food being served to students. So claims Saint John Lancaster M-L-A Dorothy Shepherd who maintains members of the committee feel let down after all the work they did.
She says the committee’s recommendation on food at the school fell on deaf ears with a letter of offer going to a corporate company.
Earlier, students at Harbour View High called for the food they produced in their own garden at the school be on offer for students.
