Over $107, 000 for enhancements to the New Brunswick Museum website.
Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long announced the ACOA Tourism Growth program funding on Thursday.
The New Brunswick Museum will hire expertise to revamp and enhance its website, allowing for digital enhancements to boost public access to its exhibits and collections and attract visitors.
It will also mean creating original content like educational materials and virtual activities to enrich both in-person and online experiences.
“The New Brunswick Museum is making history with a groundbreaking capital project, and we recognize that a strong digital experience is equally vital in today’s connected world. By enhancing the museum’s website, we’ll broaden access to New Brunswick’s rich cultural and educational assets, reaching not only Canadians but also our global visitors,” stated Tracy Clinch, Board Chair for the NB Museum
The new website will also be optimized for smartphones and tablets.
