Ryan Albright has taken “an extended leave of absence in light of recent personal health challenges,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The company and its employees would like to acknowledge the tremendous contribution that Mr. Albright has made to the advancement of the company and wish he and his family well with their personal plans,” said the release from the Waterville, N.B., company.
Albright was arrested by police in Bangor, Maine, early Saturday on a charge of domestic violent assault.
A clerk at the Bangor District Court confirmed Albright attended court on Monday, where it ordered a $750 US cash bail.
Upon his release from custody, the Bangor District Court scheduled Albright to attend court on Jan. 13.
