Kennebecasis Valley High School (KVHS) is adding another feather to its cap with a new award, after being recognized for its commitment to positively shaping its environments and cultures.
School supply company Jostens has announced that KVHS has been named a Renaissance School of Distinction for the 4th consecutive year, there the only Canadian school to hold this distinction.
The Jostens Renaissance School of Distinction title was introduced to recognize schools that are positively transforming their environments and cultures by applying the Jostens Renaissance formula: RESPECT + RECOGNIZE + REWARD + REINFORCE + RELATIONSHIPS = RESULTS.
In July 2024, KVHS was honoured at the Jostens Renaissance Global Conference held in Orlando, Florida, where they will be awarded a custom poster along with additional recognition items to celebrate this accomplishment.
This year, 84 schools across North America have proudly received this honour, reflecting their outstanding success.
“Being at a school with 1100 people, it means a lot that we can make everyone feel appreciated each and everyday” said Claire Peters, a student leader on the KVHS Renaissance team.
“This recognition means so much and that our hard work is paying off,” said another student leader, Claire Purcell.
