Sussex-area residents can learn more about the state of primary care in their community on Wednesday.
The New Brunswick Medical Society is holding a community forum at the Sussex Regional High School theatre.
It is part of a larger provincial initiative that will see similar meetings in other communities, according to a spokesperson for the society.
Jim Johnson said they will provide information on the state of human resources, patient access and funding levels.
They will also be discussing models for the future of primary care ahead of the provincial election.
Residents will also have the chance to hear from local physicians and take part in a question-and-answer session.
The forum will take place from 6 to 9 p.m.
