New details are being released on the deaths of two people in the Kennebecasis Valley community of Rothesay.
Kennebecasis regional police say a man and a woman were found dead in a residence late Monday afternoon.
Investigators say the woman, identified as 55-year-old Teresa Poirier of Spruce Street, was a homicide victim.
The death of her 55-year-old husband, Derek Poirier, remains under investigation but police said foul play is not suspected.
“At this time, police are not seeking any suspects and the public is not at any risk,” police said in an update on Thursday.
Police said no further information related to the circumstances of their deaths will be released out of respect for families and friends.
