RCMP in New Brunswick have arrested two people in connection with numerous thefts in several provinces.
Police said a number of thefts were reported across the western part of the province over the past year.
Investigators allege the individuals would advertise items for sale online via Facebook Marketplace and Amazon.
Once an interested buyer was found, they would steal the items from businesses and ship them to the buyer.
The same man and woman were the primary persons of interest, but investigators had not been able to identify them.
That is until Monday when police received information from the public about the individuals. They arrested a 53-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, both of no fixed address.
Investigators have since learned that they are persons of interest in numerous thefts in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba.
