Two people have died after separate single-vehicle crashes in northern New Brunswick.
RCMP received a report of an all-terrain vehicle leaving a trail in the Saint-Jacques area around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
The driver, a 63-year-old woman from Saint-Jacques, was rushed to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
According to Mounties, she was the only person on the ATV at the time of the crash.
Investigators believe the driver lost control when negotiating a turn heading downhill.
Then at around 2 a.m. Wednesday, first responders were called to Route 160 in Allardville.
Mounties believe a vehicle left the road, rolled over, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver and lone occupant, a 23-year-old man from Beresford, died at the scene from his injuries.
Autopsies will be conducted on both drivers to determine their exact causes of death.
