Hello Saint John! Here is your weekend update for the 5-7 of July and look ahead for the 12-14 July 2024.
Last weekend was quite the foggy weekend but we had a few amazing highlights! Friday’s highlights for sure were the amazing performances from Music from the Heart’s “Broadway Bootcamp” week-long camp. These kiddos showed up to camp from Tuesday until Friday and learned a whole musical! The youngest performed 101 Dalmatians the Musical, and the older kids performed selected songs and scenes. After being in the warm gym all day, they were super excited to get a cold treat thanks to our friends at Chapmans Ice Cream…as was I!
Saturday’s highlight was spending quality time with our friends at Broken Pieces Rage Room before they close up shop TEMPORARILY to relocate. Stay tuned to their pages to know where to find their new location and when you can get back in the rage room! It was their anniversary on Saturday and what better way to celebrate than with some cake and a fully booked day. Thank you guys for having me!

Sunday’s highlight was the enduro race at Rockwood Park held by BeRad! Mountain biking has really grown exponentially in Saint John recently and you can tell people are LOVING it! I got to watch some FAST riders take to the course, and get a little mucky on my walk about the place. Congrats to everyone there, and a big congrats to the organizers, this was a great event. Keep it on your radar for next year!
