Three people have been arrested in a threats and mischief investigation in Saint John.
Officers were called to the Maclaren Boulevard area of the north end around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
They were told that two males and a female were threatening people in the area and trying to damage windows.
“One of the males had broken a window before leaving the scene,” police said in a news release.
As the suspects were leaving, an altercation broke out between one of the youths and a woman in the area.
The woman’s mother intervened and was allegedly assaulted with a chemical irritant, according to police.
Police officers arrived in the area and took one man and two youths into custody.
