The impact of the Covered Bridge Potato Chips fire is being felt across New Brunswick.
Businesses and organizations have been showing their support on social media since Friday’s fire.
A benefit breakfast for the employees has been organized by the Woodstock Wesleyan Church this Saturday from 8 until 11 a.m.
Louis-Philippe Gauthier is the Atlantic Canadian vice-president of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
Gauthier said he is overjoyed to see fellow businesses and organizations showing their support for Covered Bridge and its employees.
“It’s always a good reminder of how important local businesses impact the community overall, so it’s quite heartwarming,” said Gauthier.

None of the employees who were working on Friday night were injured in the fire.
The production factory employs about 100 people in the Hartland area, and Gauthier said everyone needs to try and help the affected employees.
“We will learn the details of what the owners decide what they’re gonna do, but hopefully it will see a new life down the line,” Gauthier added.
The province said in a joint statement on Saturday that it is currently working with the company to provide whatever assistance is available.
