If you play the lottery, hopefully you held on to your losing ticket.
Atlantic Lottery says a small number of players received an incorrect message saying their tickets were not winners, when using the ticket checker on their phone.
It happened between October 16, 2023, and January 25, 2024, and resulted in about $27,000 not being awarded, but no prizes of more than $1,027 ore more were affected.
“Players who can be identified as being logged into their alc.ca account, when they scanned their ticket will automatically receive the amount of their prize in their account.”
Atlantic Lottery says to rescan your ticket on the app and reach out to them by phone at 1-877-252-3277, if you have questions.
