If you are looking for a great locally produced gift for someone on your Christmas list, the Excellence NB holiday gift guide is out.
Nearly 200 locally-made products are featured to make buying small and giving big easier this holiday season.
The Holiday Gift Guide encourages everyone to shop local with the growing movement in Canada aimed at increasing access to locally made and sustainable products.
An economic impact study conducted by Pierre-Marcel Desjardins revealed shifting five per cent of our spending to locally-made products could lead to the creation of over 5,000 jobs right here in New Brunswick.
This small shift has the potential to inject over $114 million in new revenue into vital sectors like education, health, and infrastructure.
“Buying locally isn’t just a choice; it’s a gift to our community,” said Renée Charron, executive director of Excellence NB.
“When we support local businesses, we support families and their dreams, environmental sustainability, job creation and quality craftsmanship.”
