The Energy and Utilities Board is looking for public input as part of the application process.
Public forums are taking place in Caraquet on Jan. 23 and in Grand Falls on Jan. 24.
A virtual online forum through Zoom has also been scheduled for Jan. 30.

Written comments can also be made but must be submitted to the board before Jan. 30 by emailing general@nbeub.ca.
NB Power has asked that the rate hike take effect on April 1. A nine-day public hearing is scheduled to begin on Feb. 13.
