A man from Tobique First Nation has been arrested after a street level drug trafficking investigation in the community.
The New Brunswick RCMP Provincial Crime Reduction Unit carried out a search warrant on Friday morning at a home on Loop Road in Tobique First Nation.
Officers seized what are believed to be several types of drugs including cocaine, crack cocaine, meth, heroin, hydromorphone pills, a quantity of unknown pills along with drug trafficking-related equipment and money.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the home.
Police say he was later released and is scheduled to return to court in Woodstock on October 25.
Anyone with information about illegal drug activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact their local police.
