Saint John police say a 34-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.
Police say William Hayward was taken into custody in Moncton around 1 p.m. Thursday.
Hayward was wanted for allegedly violating the conditions of statutory release. He was residing at a community correctional centre in Saint John.
According to police, Hayward is serving a two-year sentence for robbery, three counts of failing to comply with probation, and two charges for offences under the province’s Motor Vehicle Act.
