Saint John police say a 27-year-old woman is facing charges after a high-speed chase in the north end.
It all started around 1:10 a.m. Tuesday when police said a vehicle blew a red light at Somerset Street and Paradise Row.
“Officers pursued the vehicle onto Cranston Avenue where it accelerated and failed to stop for police before it took an abrupt turn colliding with a baby barn,” police said in a news release.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was arrested without incident for dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
Police said she was also issued a violation for driving with a suspended licence.
The woman was later released from custody with a court date of May 24.
