Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Buckingham Place.
A statement says the 95-year-old monarch is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms.”
The Queen is expected to continue carrying out “light duties,” said the statement.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” said the palace.
The Queen’s son, Prince Charles, tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in February.
It was the second time he had tested positive for the virus.
