Gas and diesel prices are up once again this week in New Brunswick.
The new maximum price for regular self-serve is $1.544 per litre in the province.
That is an increase of 5.4 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
It is the fourth consecutive week of gas price increases in the province.
Diesel prices are up for the ninth straight week. It will now cost you a maximum of $1.705 per litre, an increase of 5.3 cents.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
This time last year, regular self-serve was selling for a maximum of $1.129 per litre, while the most you were paying for diesel was $1.162.
Meanwhile, furnace oil prices have jumped by more than five cents to a new maximum of $1.523 per litre.
Propane is now selling for $1.25 per litre, an increase of just over a cent.
