With the province moving to Level 2 of the COVID-19 Winter Plan, public health reported four people with the virus have died.
A person in their 70s from the Moncton region and three people in their 80s either from Saint John, Fredericton, and Bathurst health zones have passed away.
The death toll across the province now stands at 228.
Beginning Saturday, information on new deaths related to COVID-19 will be available on the dashboard.
135 people are in hospital with COVID-19, which is down by six from Thursday.
ICU admissions have increased by eight from Thursday, with 16 patients now requiring intensive care.
As well, four patients require a ventilator.
There are 388 new cases based on PCR Testing and 682 rapid test results.
A reminder the province goes into Level 2 of the Winter Plan on Friday at 11:59 p-m.
