Public Health reported on Monday that 113 patients are in the hospital with COVID-19.
Of those patients, 16 are in an ICU and 58 were admitted to the hospital for other reasons.
Two more New Brunswickers who had COVID-19 have died: a person in their 80s in the Campbellton region and a person who is 90 or older in the Bathurst health zone.
There are 405 new cases based on PCR testing and 752 recoveries as the number of known active cases fell to 4,914.
There are 89 new cases in the Saint John region, 88 in the Moncton health zone, and 91 in the Fredericton area.
Public Health also announced that 881 more positive rapid test results had been submitted.
There are now 322 health-care workers isolating because they tested positive for the virus.
The rate of new PCR cases is 43.1 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 24.1 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 124.1 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Of those currently in hospital, the rate is 12.9 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, 10.3 per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 26.7 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Among those in the ICU, the rates are 1.4 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated, zero per 100,000 for the partially vaccinated, and 7.2 per 100,000 for the unvaccinated.
Vaccination rates were not updated on Monday due to a system upgrade. The updated numbers will be provided on Tuesday.
Officials said more than 37,000 booster appointments have been booked since January 10th.
