Provincial health officials announced 69 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, along with 77 recoveries.

School outbreaks
New Brunswick’s education minister said they are working with school districts and Public Health to manage school outbreaks.
Officials said Tuesday that there are more than 125 active COVID-19 cases across 53 schools and 24 early learning and child care centres.
“The majority of cases are impacting kindergarten-to-Grade 5 schools, with transmission often occurring outside of the school setting or in instances when Public Health measures are not followed,” the province said in a news release.
However, the Department of Education plans to contract private consultants to review ventilation in schools, given that ventilation and air exchange “also contribute to a healthy school environment,” said the release.
Details on the review is expected to be released in the new year.
