The University of New Brunswick has launched a Licensed Practical Nurse to Bachelor of Nursing pathway program in Miramichi.
The program is open to nurses who have completed their LPN training and wish to become registered nurses.
It will begin next September with 24 seats, and the course will be delivered online, with students joining the bachelor of nursing program virtually for the third and fourth years.
Training and clinical placements will take place in-person in the Miramichi area.
The seats are part of the 48-seat pathway program at UNB Fredericton, which began last year.
The Saint John campus also has a bridging program with 32 seats.
