New Brunswick Public Health reported 66 new cases of COVID-19 and three virus-related deaths on Saturday.
The deaths involve two people 80 and over in the Moncton region and a person 90 and over in the Miramichi region.
Since the pandemic began, New Brunswick has recorded 87 COVID-19-related deaths.
Of the new cases, 35 are unvaccinated, 1 is partially vaccinated, and 30 are fully vaccinated.
There are 30 new cases in the Moncton region, seven in the Saint John region, and four in the Fredericton region.
There are also 16 cases in the Edmundston region, six in the Campbellton area, two in the Bathurst health zone, and one in the Miramichi region.
There are 54 people hospitalized due to the virus, with 17 in an intensive care unit.
After 130 recoveries, there are 997 active cases province-wide.
As of Saturday, 82.3 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and 91.4 per cent have received their first dose of a vaccine.
