Do not be surprised to see lots of activity in and around Passamaquoddy Bay throughout the day Thursday.
The Canadian Coast Guard is leading a mass casualty training exercise from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Spokesperson John Drake said residents can expect to see small boats, flares, and low-flying aircraft.
Several agencies are taking part, including the U.S. Coast Guard, RCMP, ground search and rescue, and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Drake said the training usually takes place annually but was cancelled last year due to COVID-19.
