A man and woman charged with a slew of offences after a break-in and assault in near Fredericton.
Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, members of the West District RCMP responded to a disturbance in a Duke Street home in Minto.
Police were told the situation escalated and two people armed with a weapon broke into the home.
A 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both from Minto, were arrested at the scene.
Allan Colwell was charged with several offenses including assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
Becky Colwell was been charged with assault and resisting arrest among others.
Both are due back in court on September 14th.
