Saint John’s annual fire hydrant flushing program is underway for another year.
The focus for the next few weeks will be in neighbourhoods on the city’s east side.
Customers in or near several areas may be impacted, including:
- Bon Accord
- Champlain Heights
- Drury Cove
- Forest Hills
- Ganong Road
- Glen Falls
- Heather Way
- Hickey Road
- Highmeadow Park
- Lakewood Heights
- McAllister Industrial Park
- Rothesay Road
You may notice dirty or cloudy water for up to 20 minutes while the line on your street is being flushed, but staff say the water is safe to drink.
City officials say work will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
