New Brunswick achieved another illustrious achievement in its vaccine rollout campaign on Sunday, with over 50% of the eligible population fully vaccinated.
The number of first doses administered also improved, increasing to 79.5% of individuals 12 and older.
The province has surpassed 900,000 total doses administered due to an uptick of over 10,000.
Sunday marks the sixth consecutive day without a new case of COVID-19 in the province. Public Health reported no new recoveries meaning the active case count remains at six for the time being.
There is one New Brunswicker in the hospital with the virus.
