A Seaside Park Elementary School student had a unique start to summer vacation.
Nine-year-old Harlow Mott-Wood spent Monday as the Saint John Police Force’s “Chief For A Day” after winning a contest.
She took part in an official swearing-in ceremony before touring Peel Plaza and completing her duties.
Mott-Wood can be seen wearing a uniform in photos tweeted by the Saint John Police Force.
She also spent time with a K9 officer and had her fingerprints taken.
It was a pleasure to have Harlow Mott Wood join us in her role as the winner of the Chief For A Day Contest. Harlow had a great time and loved all of the activities. Enjoy your summer Harlow (Chief) and stay safe! pic.twitter.com/KeJciaE4nh
