Fundy Fringe Fest
The Fundy FRINGE Festival has unveiled the lineup for its ninth annual event in Saint John.
A dozen acts from across New Brunswick were chosen through a lottery-style selection.
Director Drew Murdock says the diverse group of shows will include magic, drama, comedy, storytelling, music and more.
“I am eager to have patrons experience the fun and excitement of FRINGE once again this year, with even more venues, activities and shows than last year, bringing us closer and closer to a pre-pandemic festival,” Murdock said in a news release.
Nine acts took part last year with all shows being livestreamed from the BMO Studio Theatre on Princess Street.
This year, live performances will take place at two venues with streaming options also available.
Organizers limited submissions to New Brunswick artists this year due to COVID-19 regulations.
The 2021 Fundy FRINGE Festival will take place from Aug. 16 to 21.
