It could be a weekend without a campfire, according to New Brunswick’s fire index.
The province provided an update at 2 p.m. on Friday. Most of the province remains under a burn ban including southern New Brunswick.
Victoria county is open for burning while in Carleton county burning is permitted from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The index is updated daily at 2 p.m.
Burning conditions are valid from 2 PM May 28th, to 2 PM May 29th.
Between 8 PM and 8 AM burning is permitted in the following counties: Carleton
