A new face will lead Hampton town council for the next four years.
Deputy Mayor Robert “Dewey” Doucet was elected to the role by acclamation.
Outgoing mayor Ken Chorley decided to put his name forward for council instead.
A total of seven people ran for the town’s four council seats, including one incumbent.
Incumbent Todd Beach and former mayor Chorley are among the winners, according to the unofficial results, along with Jeremy Salgado and Kim Tompkins.
Voter turnout in Hampton was 37.25 per cent, above the provincial turnout of 30.35 per cent.
