Jordan Hollingsworth has entered the crowded race to become a councillor in Saint John’s third ward.
He says he has seen the city struggle in his time here, and he wants to be part of a positive change moving forward.
Hollingsworth believes housing and population growth are the biggest issue facing the next council, and that the city needs to increase its housing stock to help retain the surge of people trying to move to New Brunswick during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On his Facebook page, he says if elected he would support the city’s arts community, heritage restoration, and work to create better affordable housing options.
Voters head to the polls on May 10.
