The five-day water level forecast along the lower Saint John River continues to look promising.
According to River Watch, water levels were just shy of 3.5 metres at Saint John on Tuesday morning, about 70 centimetres below flood stage.
The current forecast shows water levels dropping to 3.0 metres by Friday and remaining steady through the weekend.
Further upriver, water levels are also expected to drop slightly at Gagetown, Jemseg and Grand Lake, and remain steady at Fredericton, Maugerville and Oak Point.
