A lifelong Kennebecasis Valley resident is hoping to become a councillor in Rothesay.
Dave Brown has put his name forward for one of seven seats around the council table.
Brown said he has built businesses from the ground up and is a very hands-on person.
“My passion is within the automotive industry, which is how I am known by many. However, I consider myself to have a wide range of knowledge and experience in many areas and a unique skill set that I have acquired over the years,” Brown wrote in an email.
Brown said he would like to use those skills if elected to help grow Rothesay and sustain the town’s heritage.
“I would love to listen to any ideas people have and will do my best if elected,” he said.
Voters will head to the polls on May 10.
