New Brunswick officially kicked off the season of spring this morning.
Projections indicate that this year will bring warmer temperatures than usual, but the changes will not be drastic.
Doug Gilham is a meteorologist for the Weather Network who believes we may have to be patient when waiting for the temperature to rise.
“It doesn’t ever warm up as fast as we want it to, but we do think the final numbers will average out to the warmer side,” he said
Despite an optimistic forecast, spring has a reputation for being unpredictable.
“Certainly no guarantees it’s capable of being stormy at the start and stormy again at the end,” said Gilham
