This list came just in time for International Women’s Day.
Three familiar faces who have been at the forefront of the pandemic, made Atlantic Business Magazine’s list.
They are the three Chief Public health officers in Atlantic Canada, New Brunswick’s Dr. Jennifer Russell, PEI’s Dr. Heather Morrison and Newfoundland and Labrador’s Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.
The magazine says, as medical professionals, these doctors don’t have roles that scream “business” on first glance, but they played an important role in controlling the spread of the coronavirus, both in their own provinces and throughout Atlantic Canada.
Others who made the top 25 list include the CEO for the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Sheri Sommerville, the president of Atlantica Centre for Energy Colleen D’Entremont, Cathy Simpson, who is the CEO for TechImpact, and the Board Chair for the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, and Denise Allen who is the president and CEO of Food Processors of Canada.
25 Most Powerful Women in Atlantic Canada business continues with…Colleen D'Entremont, president, Atlantica Centre…
