For the second day in a row, New Brunswick is reporting new COVID-19 cases in the single digits.
Public Health reports five new cases of COVID-19 today (February 12).
The Saint John region (Zone 2) has one case:
- an individual 50-59
The Edmundston region (Zone 4) has three cases:
- an individual 19 and under
- an individual 40-49
- an individual 80-89
The Bathurst region (Zone 6) has one case:
- an individual 20-29
Since Thursday, 10 people have recovered from the virus and the number of active cases is now 156.
Six patients are in hospital with two in intensive care.
The province has recorded 22 deaths related to COVID-19.
On Thursday, 1,484 tests were conducted for a total of 215,879.
Zone 4 (Edmundston region) remains at the Red level.
All other zones remain in the Orange level under the province’s mandatory order.
