New Brunswick reported one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Christmas Day.
Public Health says the travel-related case involves someone in their 40s in the Saint John health region (Zone 2).
There have also been two more recoveries since Thursday, bringing the total number of active cases down to 43.
Fifteen of the active cases are in the Edmundston region (Zone 4), 13 are in the Fredericton region (Zone 3) and eight are in the Moncton region (Zone 1).
There are three active cases in the Saint John region (Zone 2), two in the Bathurst region (Zone 6), and one each in the Campbellton (Zone 5) and Miramichi (Zone 7) regions.
One person is currently hospitalized in intensive care.
