Heavy rain over the past couple of days has led to flooded streets and roads throughout southern New Brunswick.
In Saint John, Rothesay Avenue is closed at the train bridge near Rothesay Road and at Retail Drive.
Other sections of Rothesay Avenue are reduced to one lane due to flooding.
Ashburn Road is closed from Rothesay Road to Drury Cove.
McAllister Drive is closed in both directions from Majors Brook Drive to Golden Grove Road.
Westmorland Road is flooded to the centre lane at the Walmart entrance. There is also flooding along sections of Golden Grove Road.
Several streets in Glen Falls are also impacted by flooding, including Simpson Drive, Princess Court, Todd Street, Holland Street, Walter Street, Broadway Avenue, Glen Road, Brown Street, MacKay Street, Belgian Road, Rayland Street, Ashton Place, Dutch Garden Lane, and Dresden Avenue.
Saint John police are reminding drivers to respect any barricades that are in place.
A listener tells us there is water over the road on Barnesville Road (Route 820) along Third Lake.
Another listener says there is flooding on Elliot Road in Quispamsis near the swamp.
We are also hearing reports of roads being flooded or washed out on the Kingston Peninsula.
