A 42-year-old Moncton man has been arrested for possession of stolen property after the seizure of a significant quantity of stolen copper.
Early Friday morning (November 20), Codiac RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Collishaw Street in Moncton.
A search began after copper material was observed in the vehicle.
A variety of copper materials were seized and the driver was arrested at the scene.
Police believe the copper was stolen from various sources and locations.
The man was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on February 11, 2021.
