Seven current and former Bell employees are Saint John’s newest lottery winners.
They won $1 million in the November 7th Lotto 6/49 draw.
Luc Cormier, Angela Estey, Nathalie Haines, Tammy Dunlop, Angela Donovan and Linda O’Brien were revealed as the winners at an Atlantic Lottery Corporation ceremony at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal in Saint John on Wednesday.
The group’s trustee, Luc Cormier, said he learned of the windfall while checking the numbers online over his Sunday morning coffee.
“I took a screenshot of my app and sent it to everybody and said ‘You will be glad you are paid up this month,'” Cormier said.

O’Brien said it feels amazing to win this money with great friends. She plans to pay off a ‘secret’ credit card she hides from husband.
“I am running to get there [mailbox] before him. Now I can pay off that bad little secret,” O’Brien said while laughing.
Dunlop was sure if the calls and messages saying they had won were real or not.
“When Linda kept saying, ‘we won the lottery’, it was elation, pure elation,” Dunlop said.
Crystal Baird, the seventh member of the group, joined the Saint John event virtually.
The group of seven kept playing together even though some have moved on to other jobs or retired.
