New Brunswick Liquor is holding a draw that may interest the beer lover on your shopping list this holiday season.
This year New Brunswick’s liquor retailer procured 132 bottles of Goose Island’s 2020 Bourbon County Stout.
The stout is available only once a year at select retailers.
“There’s a lot of time and effort that goes into making these beers, so they’re really special and unique, made in small quantities, which is why there’s so much excitement around getting your hands on a bottle,” said Bianca Brophy, category manager for refreshments with NB Liquor.
The annually-produced stout is aged for a year in bourbon barrels to give it a distinctive bourbon flavour.
Goose Island produces a handful of stout variants for the annual drop, and this year NB Liquor is able to sell the original stout variant.
“We don’t always get the opportunity, but we’ve been working on this for many years,” said Brophy. “For us to be able to bring that to our customers is a really exciting opportunity.”
New Brunswickers can enter a draw to win the opportunity to purchase one of the limited quantity stouts.
The deadline to enter is November 17.
