A 30-year-old man from Moncton has been charged with several offences in connection with a shooting that happened in Dieppe last November.
On the afternoon of November 9, police responded to a call that shots were fired inside a Chartersville Road home.
A 28-year-old man was injured in the incident and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 29-year-old man was arrested nearby and was held in custody for breaching parole.
On Thursday, Devlin Earl Edward O’Blenis appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by video conference where he was charged.
O’Blenis is facing charges including attempted murder by discharging a prohibited firearm with intent to kill.
He remains incarcerated and is scheduled to appear in court on October 29.
