City police are asking for the public’s help investigating an attempted robbery at the east side Bank of Nova Scotia location.
A man walked into the Westmorland Road branch around 3 p.m. Thursday, and told staff he had a weapon and wanted cash.
According to police, no one was injured in the incident, and the man fled on foot.
The suspect is described as five foot 10 inches, between 25 and 30 years of age with facial hair and a receding hairline.
A release from city police says at the time of the attempted robbery the suspect was wearing a black and white jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans and a mask.
