The town of Quispamsis will return to in-person council meetings for the first time since February.
The first of three meetings during the month of October will be held this Tuesday at 7 p.m. followed by another on the 20th and a special budget meeting on the morning of October 24th.
The council chamber has a new look with Lexan glass dividers installed between all 15 seats around the horseshoe.
“Safety is our top priority, and we are confident we have implemented the appropriate protocols,” said Mayor Gary Clark. “It will be nice to get back to a somewhat regular routine.”
Masks must be worn at all times and public attendance will be limited to 18 people in chairs that are physically-distanced by one metre in the gallery.
For those unable to attend, the meetings will be live-streamed on Facebook.
