One person has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Saint John’s east side.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Loch Lomond Road around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
“Officers arrived to find one person had been struck by the side mirror of a vehicle and knocked to the ground,” said Jim Hennessy, communications manager for the Saint John Police Force, in an email.
Hennessy said the victim was taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital but there is no word on their condition.
The driver was issued two fines under the Provincial Offences Procedure Act, he said.
